The Williamstown Area Historical Society has been organized for the purpose of collecting and preserving books, papers, records, writings, relics, etc., relating particularly to the History of the communities of Athey,Boaz, Boreman, Briscoe Run, Odgin, Talley Ho, Valley Mills, Walker, Waverly, Williamstown, and partly to that of West Virginia. The Society’s mission is to identify, present, preserve, and promote the history of the Williamstown Area.
